Marker Test

I got a new set of alcohol-based markers for my birthday and figured I’d test them out. I’m sure my choice of subject will come as a complete shock.

This is my tribute to two of James Bond’s more memorable fashion choices: the terry cloth romper from Goldfinger and Roger Moore’s safari suit from…well, take your pick. This was drawn on bristol board with Pigma Micron pens and colored with Ohuhu alcohol-based markers. To finish it off, I splattered on some colored inks with a paint brush.

On the whole, I found the markers fun to work with, with results similar to watercolors but a lot easier to use. Looking forward to finding more projects.
